Shortly after I listened to the podcast Monday, I called to make an appointment. I was offered “8:50.” Not wanting to have my life turn into that bit from “The Complacents,” I responded as Adrien Creamsicle had not. “Eight-five-oh?” I asked. The answer was affirmative.
